It’s National Teacher Appreciation Week and we wanted to highlight a few of our favorite teachers that helped build the core educational focus of our organization and have made a difference for our local community here in Harford County. These three wonderful individuals have inspired countless young people to become interested in wildlife and protecting the environment. We are honored to have retired Harford County Public School teachers Mary Murray and Bob Chance as well as Harford Community College Professor Andy Adams on our Board of Directors. We are proud that all of our leadership team and volunteers are active and learning to carry our conservation message out into the community, teaching that we all can make a positive impact on protecting our local wildlife, hopefully creating many more future conservationists in the process. Most of all we want to thank all of the amazing teachers out there who work tirelessly to invest in the growth of others! You make the world a better place!
