SWS had a wonderful group of about 25 outdoor enthusiasts join them to skip the stores and spend a sunny but chilly Black Friday afternoon exploring the recently created trails at Palmer State Park. They talked about the history of the park, the landscape and local wildlife while searching for birds and salamanders. They hope they inspired the many first time visitors to return and discover more areas of this incredible stretch of protected land in the Deer Creek watershed of Harford County, Maryland.
