Welcome Earthlings! The Periodical Cicada nymphs have begun to emerge from their 17 year waiting period underground and as temperatures warm they will soon shed their exoskeletons to take their final form. The iconic red-eyed flying buzzers will be just about everywhere in through much of Maryland and Pennsylvania in a few weeks through the end of June, with the noisy males being very hard to ignore. 2021 is the cycle year for Brood X, the Great Eastern Brood, and we thought you might be as excited as we are so we decided to create some special products to commemorate the event! We have partnered with the talented local artist Vicki Dodson who has made some incredible designs for our merch store! If you message her directly she also has an assortment of posters and stickers if shirts, mugs, masks and totes aren’t your thing (see comment). A few of these special products will be donated to us and available in our upcoming silent auction for our 10th Anniversary Celebration.
