On Thursday night many across the region, including here in Harford County had amazing looks at the Northern Lights! The best views were in places with less light pollution, underscoring the need for dark skies not just for many species of nocturnal wild, but also for enjoyment of the night sky. This was a night that allowed for so many to finally see this phenomenon for the first time, both with the naked eye and enhanced with camera technology, and is something none of us who were lucky enough to experience it will ever forget.
